On the Speed of Social Learning
نویسندگان
چکیده
We study the speed of social learning, when two players learn from private signals as well as the actions of the other. Our main finding is that increased interaction between the agents can lower the rate of learning: learning is significantly slower when both players observe each other, than when one only observes the other. JEL classifications: C73, D82, D83

Background and Purpose: Learning disorder is one of the common disorders in students, which can lead to the occurrence of educational problems and secondary disorders in them. Based on psychopathological criteria, dyscalculia is one of the subcategories of learning disorder. Children with this disorder have problems in perception of spatial relations and in different cognitive abilities. Theref...
متن کاملOn the convergence speed of artificial neural networks in the solving of linear systems
Artificial neural networks have the advantages such as learning, adaptation, fault-tolerance, parallelism and generalization. This paper is a scrutiny on the application of diverse learning methods in speed of convergence in neural networks. For this aim, first we introduce a perceptron method based on artificial neural networks which has been applied for solving a non-singula...
